Last week, on Thursday 8 December, Alessandro Bianchini participated in the International Offshore Wind Technical Conference (IOWTC) in Boston, Massachussetts.
On this occasion, he showcased the FLOATECH project during a session dedicated to New & Innovative Floating Designs in front of approximately 35 peoples.
His presentation was split into three parts:
An overview of the project, including the overall objectives of the project, the structure of the Work Packages and a presentation of each of them, as well as their interaction.
The current status of the research actions and their perspectives
And finally, a prospects of multi-fidelity analysis of Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWTs).
